Our original hand painted silk panels are available in 4’x8′ panels. Bringing together the vibrant colors of the spectrum in a unique blending… as the vibrant paints and dyes infuse magically into the silk.
After the artwork is completed, the panels are steam-cured, and the dye binds molecularly to the fabric- allowing the silk to be cared for by hand washing, without loss of color. The permanent radiance of the colors emerging from the silks enhanced by the curing process ensures the wearability of this cherished fiber giving years of enjoyment as art or clothing.
Washing Instructions
We recommend washing our silk art in cold water with shampoo, after rinsing adding hair conditioner to a small basin of water, mixing and placing rinsed silk into conditioner water mix letting silk absorb this and gently squeezing silk and hang to dry. This softens the silk and removes any wrinkles so ironing is not needed!
